Opto coupled power triacks for AC voltage power control. The zero crossing triacks ensure low EMC emission by the low switching transient currents.
Pros: The advantage triacks are high power and switching frequency baside of ability of switch AC voltages. The optocouplers isolate the high voltage part of the circuit from the low voltage controlling part.
Cons:Unlike the relays it needs heatsink.
